Recipe Variations and Substitutions
- Nuts: For an extra nutty flavor, try roasting the almonds (or another nut of your choice) for 10 minutes at 350F. If you don't like almonds, switch to hazelnuts, pecans, or macadamia nuts.
- Alternative Add-Ins: Leave nuts out for plain white chocolate fudge, or experiment with other additions to suit your taste or the occasion. You can also add flavor infusions like orange zest or lavender.
- Coconut Milk: Switch coconut condensed milk for regular condensed milk, if desired.
Tips
- Melting the Chocolate: Melt the chocolate low and slow to avoid burning or crystalizing the sugar.
- Cooling Time: Don't rush the cooling. You want the fudge to set well.
