Chocolate Granola Bars

Healthy No-Bake

- ½ cup maple syrup  - ½ cup peanut, almond, or cashew butter - 1 tablespoon coconut oil -1 teaspoon vanilla extract - ¼ teaspoon salt - ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon - ½ cup rolled oats - 1 ½ cups quick oats - ⅓ cup shredded coconut - ⅓ cup chocolate chips - ⅓ cup almonds

Place maple syrup, coconut oil, salt and chosen nut butter into a medium-sized pan. 

Step 1

Stir over medium heat until well combined. 

Step 2

Stir in vanilla essence and cinnamon. 

Step 3

Add chocolate chips, almonds and coconut. 

Step 4

 Stir to combine and melt the chocolate. 

Step 5

 Add both rolled and quick oats. 

Step 6

 Mix well to ensure all ingredients are well combined. 

Step 7

 Pour the mixture into the prepared mould, and press down until it spreads evenly to the edge.

Step 8

 Sprinkle coconut on top and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Step 9

 Once it is hard, cut into 10 individual bars.
